Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has issued calendar for its all the exams to be held in the year 2015.
IBPS is an autonomous agency in India. It started its operation in 1975 as Personnel Selection Services (PSS). In 2011, IBPS announced a Common Written Examination (CWE) for the selection Officers and Clerks in Indian banks. IBPS CWE is now mandatory for anyone who seeks an employment in 20 public sector and Regional Rural banks. IBPS periodically accepts the exam applications from the candidates at their website www.ibps.in. These exams are organized at various locations in the country in online mode.
Exam Calendar:
- The online examinations for CWE RRB-III are tentatively scheduled to be held as follows :
- 06.09.2014, 07.09.2014, 13.09.2014, 14.09.2014, 20.09.2014, 21.09.2014 & 27.09.2014
- The online examinations for CWE PO/MT-IV are tentatively scheduled to be held as follows :
- 11.10.2014, 12.10.2014, 18.10.2014, 19.10.2014, 01.11.2014, 02.11.2014
- The online examinations for CWE CLERKS-IV are tentatively scheduled to be held as follows :
- 06.12.2014, 07.12.2014, 13.12.2014, 14.12.2014, 20.12.2014, 21.12.2014, 27.12.2014
- The online examinations for CWE SPECIALIST-IV are tentatively scheduled to be held as follows :
- 14.02.2015, 15.02.2015, 21.02.2015
Note: The examination may be held on some/ all/ additional dates. The dates are tentative and may be subject to change for administrative reasons. Detailed Notification will be issued in due course.
Exam Pattern:
1) IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern:
The written examination includes five sections that are Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge. Every section is of Maximum 40 Marks carrying a total of 200 Marks. Time duration is 2 hours. The Exam Paper is of objective type.

2) IBPS PO/MT Exam Pattern:
The online written examination includes a paper that consists of five different sections that are Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness (with special reference to Banking Industry) and Computer Knowledge. There will be 200 objective type questions carrying one mark for each. The duration of exam is 2 hours.
